Little Fighter

3rd October - Harley came off ventilator yesterday :) and now has mask over his face to help keep lungs inflated, needed quite a bit of oxygen as the little mite wouldn't keep his mouth closed (ummm - wonder where he gets that from!) SO to encourage him to keep it closed he was given the worlds SMALLEST dummy :)) He also had his hat changed but unfortunately we were not there to get first glimpse of him without a hat for a few seconds :( although he did open one eye slightly :)) but then closed it tightly and has not attempted opening it again since (not that I blame him - with all our leaping about like we'd never seen an eye before he must have thought he was at the zoo!) Not stable enough for cuddle from mummy but hopefully that will happen in next few days. Longline has been taken out and antibiotics are blasting away at his infection and he had his first ONE millilitre of milk today :)
